In fact, when you think about it, adopting these habits will help you get more energy and organize in a way that you are left with a sense of accomplishment. This, in turn, translates into more free time. Imagine what you could achieve with extra time.

Most of you are reading this because you want to achieve a goal. You want to lose weight, gain muscle, get fit, breathe better, lower stress, balance hormones, increase energy or simplify your lifestyle.

With that in mind, the following habits will help you create a strong foundation for you to grow and achieve what you want. As a starting point, you need to realize that you cannot achieve anything by simply sitting and not moving all day long.

There can be no life without sleep. As much as you may want to stay awake more, you need proper rest.

The key to figuring out how much sleep you actually need is to pay attention to what your body is saying.

Once you wake up, your body lets you know what it’s missing. If you feel a constant lack of energy when you wake up, that’s your body’s way of telling you it needs proper fuel. After you resolve potential nutritional deficiencies, get into the habit of going to bed when you feel sleepy. Go to bed early and wake up early. Experiment for a while and see whether you can wake up early without an alarm.
