Acne is caused by a hormonal disorder in the skin’s oil glands. This may be due to excess toxins and excess bacteria on the skin.

Do not wash your face more than three times a day. Over washing of the skin may stimulate the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum which leads to acne.

Avoid squeezing, rubbing or touching the pimples as this will aggravate the situation. You should also use only certain skin care products and make up. Be sure to remove the make up at the end of the day as leaving it will clog the skin pores hence more acne.

Lower Your Processed Sugar Intake

Too much processed sugar is harmful for the skin and the body generally. By lowering your daily sugar intake, the body will reduce inflammation which will reduce the pimples in the body. You can substitute honey and fruit for processed sugars.

There are some homemade recipes that have been known to eliminate acne naturally. These remedies are natural, cheap and have been known to deliver remarkable results:

  • Baking Powder
    • Mix baking powder with a little water to form a paste, and then apply the paste on the affected area for about 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
